The assembling and secure storage of all Readynet data is taken very seriously

Data is collected and stored in a secure database in accordance with best practices in information technology security. That is why you require login details to access your site or group’s details just like internet banking.  The information is being collected for the purpose of emergency management and will only be disclosed to organisations that we reasonably consider requires it for the purposes of emergency management including (without limitation) Ambulance New Zealand, the Police and the New Zealand Fire Service, territorial, regional or national emergency operations centres and district health boards.

The Readynet website uses Secure Socket Layer – SSL encryption for all data travelling to and from the website.
This can be verified on the Login page by clicking on the organisation name in the browser and/or the security certificate badge once you have logged in. Check for the padlock icon which shows that you are on a secured web site.
